Job Description: Office Manager/Front Desk Receptionist (Part-Time)

Our Holistic Center, located in Gainesville, Virginia, has been serving clients since December 2012, offering a wide range of services including specific chiropractic care, physical medicine, massage therapies, nutrition, and bioresonance/biofeedback energy psychology. We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and computer-savvy Office Manager who can also serve as our Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant. Job Responsibilities:

Perform various administrative duties and ad-hoc projects

Schedule appointments and maintain accurate medical records

Verify insurance and assist with billing tasks
-
Answer phone calls, book appointments, and follow up with patients

Maintain records of purchased equipment and medical/natural supplies
-
Correspond with patients and insurance companies as needed
-
Assist clinicians with patients as needed
-
Support customer service and retention through follow-up calls
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Proficient with PC systems, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe PDF/Acrobat, iPads, and other digital tools

Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute

Strong communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude

Must be customer-service oriented with a caring and approachable demeanor

Capable of multitasking under pressure while maintaining patient confidentiality

Prior experience in sales, medical, or a holistic lifestyle is preferred

Work Environment & Compensation:

Hours: 20-32 per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Wednesday and Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM)

Starting salary: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience, with performance-based bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality chiropractic care to patients using techniques such as spinal adjustments, manual therapy, and physical rehabilitation

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical evaluations

Develop and execute personalized treatment plans to address patients’ specific needs and health goals

Educate patients on chiropractic care, physical well-being, and preventive strategies

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the center, including massage therapists, nutritionists, and energy practitioners, to offer integrated, holistic care

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in an electronic medical system

Stay updated with the latest chiropractic techniques and research to enhance patient care
Qualifications:

Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic program

Active state chiropractic license in Virginia

Malpractice Insurance
-
Strong diagnostic and manual therapy skills with a patient-focused approach

Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex medical concepts in a way patients can easily understand

Interest or experience in holistic or integrative care is a plus
