Whole-listic Solution

(Mind + Body + Soul = Whole)

Finding the real U, holistic = realistic

Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are Reflex points and areas in the hands and feet that correspond to all of the organs and glands in the body. Our service uses a unique method of using the thumbs and fingers (no special tools) to apply pressure on these Reflexes that can help alleviate issues with body systems, organs and glands that correspond to those Reflexes.

What are the Benefits of Reflexology?

Reflexology can help in restoring balance and harmony in the body and in releasing stress/tension. It can facilitate a deep sense of relaxation, calm the mind and emotions. While the main purpose of Reflexology is to relieve stress and tension (see http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/expert-answers/what-is-reflexology/faq-20058139 as well as the Infographic at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/heartmath-llc/how-stress-affects-the-body_b_2422522.html) and to improve nerve and blood supply, its benefits can be realized as it helps the body to normalize and regain its balance. When the body normalizes, it can heal faster and properly, and so, overall health can improve.

Research studies indicate that Reflexology can benefit with a variety of conditions and ailments, particularly as an intervention to reduce pain, enhance relaxation, and reduce psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and depression (see http://www.takingcharge.csh.umn.edu/explore-healing-practices/reflexology/what-does-research-say-about-refloxology).
